Dr. Vijayan has 10 years of biomedical research and has several publications in peer reviewed scientific journals.. He has experience in the marketing of bio-medical technologies, including medical devices. He was a post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Chicago and a Research Scientist at Jackson Laboratories in Maine.

Edward Yavitz - Chief Scientific Advisor

Dr. Yavitz is the owner and primary surgeon at Edward Yavitz Eye Center in Rockford, Illinois. His experience includes performing cataract removal, corneal transplant, holmium laser sclerostomy, and refractive surgery (including RK, PRK, LASIK) procedures. He was a Clinical Investigator on FDA-approved clinical studies on silicone folding lens implants and on a scanning excimer laser device for photorefractive keratectomy (PRK). Dr. Yavitz is an inventor of medical and dental devices and author of several patents.
